Sitework for expansion of new school addition at Danbury High School. Giordano’s scope of work consisted of layout, site demolition, site preparation, temporary sidewalks & construction fencing, removal of above and below grade site improvements, removal and replacement of unsuitable material; excavation and backfilling, trenching and backfilling for all trades, shoring and underpinning, earthwork, site water distribution and drainage, fire hydrants, vapor barriers, molded- sheet panels, perimeter insulation, perimeter under-slab and foundation insulation foundation drainage, structural concrete, all site utilities, cast-in-place concrete sidewalks/curbs/ walkways/ramps, chain link fencing, asphalt paving and curbs, pavement markings, tactile warning strips, traffic signage, and landscaping.
