TITLE: The Foote School

When the expansion of this secondary school’s physical plant became an imperative, first among the targets for expansion were the library and lower grade classrooms. The library project was a particularly challenging undertaking. The project architect saw the opportunity to preserve the logistical flow of the campus by extending the profile of the existing library out to new dimension. Working in close coordination with Jay Cox, Foote’s facilities manager, and in tight quarters during active school days required a special level of sensitivity from Giordano’s team. The level of success achieved is best exemplified by a visit to the school. It speaks for itself.
