TITLE: Rose Alumni House

DATE: 2009

This 11,798 Tudor Revival was built from plans of James Gamble Rogers as a fraternity house. In the 1970s, the building was renovated and altered for offices and meeting rooms for the Association of Yale Alumni. This $1.75 million project included restoration, repair and refinishing of interior millwork, but was primarily a complete exterior renovation including: cutting and repointing all brick masonry; cleaning and repairing cast stone; and replacing of all pre-cast window surrounds. The slate roof, copper gutters/ flashing, wood and hollow metal doors, steel windows and finish hardware were all replaced. Extensive sitework, concrete demolition and repair was also performed.
